About Company
The EcoPerlite Co Ltd was founded in 1992 in Yerevan,
Armenia by a team of scientists from the “Perlite”
department of the “Stone and Silicates”
Institute. EcoPerlite began producing heat-insulation slabs and special
filters by ordered by the government. After winning several awards
in 2000, it have been awarded new production projects, like the construction
of the 5th power unit of the Hrazdan Electric Power
Plant, the wastewater filtration system for the Armenian Nuclear Power
Plant and the manufacture of thermo-insulation for piping. Today EcoPerlite
Co Ltd is constantly producing, improving and delivering heat-insulation
and special filter materials and products, which are of great importance
to the country. EcoPerlite produces perlite, a porous friable material
with a fine cellular structure that is chemically inert, biologically
stable, heat and sound resistant, non toxic, odorless, and water-insoluble,
and which offers exceptional insulating and filtering properties.
Through advanced technologies and high quality products it competes
with leading perlite production companies world-wide.
EcoPerlite Co Ltd is a member of the “Perlite Centre”
in Russia and has participated in national exhibitions in Armenia
and in international exhibitions in Moscow and Lisbon. Its success

EcoPerlite products have been used in many important projects in Armenia,
such as: the Central Bank building, the Children Rehabilitation Centre,
the ministry of Defense building, the UN building, the “Euromotors”
Armenia building, the British Embassy, the “Jermuk Group”
building, the Youth Palace, the “GUM” and “CUM”
trade centers, the 5th power unit of the Hrazdan electric power station,
the wastewater filtration system of the Armenian Nuclear Station,
the Northern Avenue, the thermo-insulation of piping and in the construction
many other buildings in Yerevan and in the regions.
The company primarily rents perlite mines in Aragats, which are famous
for their high quality crude ore. Parallel to the increasing demand
for perlite in our country EcoPerlite is looking forward to extending
its product list and commencing production of new heat-insulators,
abrasives, filters, agroperlite and powders. |
